Glass is a fascinating matter. It has the ability to magnify, contain, combine and reflect whilst remaining liquid. These ideas attracted me to the medium.
Drawing inspiration from patterns in life and the delicate intimacy of nature in miniature, my fused glass work is reminiscent of antique textiles.
Using a variety of materials, I create romantic patterns within the glass; the translucency of which magnifies the rich colours and textures created during firing.
My range includes jewellery; incorporating sterling silver and organza ribbons and coasters.
